The Monastery Inn is a place of retreat for people and groups from all walks of life and beliefs who seek to share the simple life, prayer and rhythms of the Benedictine monastic community of Sant Benet de Montserrat.

Facilities

The guesthouse is equipped with flat rate Wi-Fi. At the moment there is no lift in the guesthouse.

The monastery of Sant Benet de Montserrat is located in an area of great natural beauty. Visitors can attend worship in the Church. They can visit the gardens, have an infusion and enjoy the pottery of the monastery in our small shop. All the work has been done by the nuns since 1964 with a contemplative spirit to maintain a way of life empowered by the Spirit.

There are two meeting and event spaces available for groups (maximum capacity 20 PAX and 12 PAX each).

All meals for guests are provided in the inn’s dining room.

The meals offered are simple and home-cooked. Visitors receive the same as the nuns. Lunch is the main meal of the day (three courses) and dinner is a lighter meal in the evening.

We offer a vegetarian and gluten-free option if informed in time.

Length of stay

We hope you get a lot out of your time at St. Benedict’s Monastery.

There is no minimum/maximum duration. You can stay on the same day, from morning until sunset, for a contemplative retreat or to study.

If you visit at the weekend, and it is possible, we ask for a minimum of two meals.

Capacity of the rooms

The guest house has capacity for 19 people.

There are eight shared double rooms, one triple room (equipped with a bunk bed), one single room with shared bathroom and one single room with private bathroom.

It is possible to book individually or as a group.
